A: No. You can try ameliorate before you buy or sign anything.
After signing up for your complimentaryhour, I'll reach out via text, and we’ll schedule a time for you to tell me about your space.
If it's a good fit, we'll set a date for your in-home consultation (which can also be done virtually). In this free, hour-long session you'll get to experience how the process looks and feels, as well as get an estimate and plan for your space. If after that you feel ready and excited, we will schedule your first 2-3 sessions. In these sessions, I and/or my team will work alongside you in 4-10 hour blocks to tailor your space to reflect the person you are becoming.
Q: How much Does IT Cost?
A: The cost of your amelioration is largely dependent upon your space, goals, and willingness to make or maintain progress outside of scheduled meetings. Oftentimes, clients spend about one month's rent/mortgage on the Amelioration process, but that’s a very rough guide. It varies widely by project, but the minimum investment is $300. If you're on a budget, Ameliorate can tailor a payment plan to that budget.
Q: There are so many you tubes, workbooks and even shows on netflix about how to do this work. why would i pay someone to do it when i can just do it myself?
A: There are a million resources available for far less than it costs to have a professional come into your home. In my own life, however, I struggle to make any significant changes unless I have accountability. I move much faster withsomeone by my side to help me stay the course. I want to be that person for you. If you're feeling stuck when it comes to creating and keeping a better home for yourself, I can help. We can put 'Tidying Up' on in the background if you want--it's great inspiration!
Q: WHAT MAKES AMELIORATE BETTER THAN OTHER PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZERS?
A: I wouldn't say we are better than anyone else doing this work, but I would say we are unique in how we relate to our clients. Anyone can use the internet to figure out how to organize a pantry, go to The Container Store, and write what's in a basket on a tiny chalkboard. And it's so cute! I don't think that process really changes how you relate to your home or the things in it. The work we do at Ameliorate often goes deeper than that, elevating spaces and in so doing, the people who live in them. It's so much more than chalkboard markers, and it can change your whole life.
